Subtle involvement of lymph node capsule by metastatic invasive lobular carcinoma.
High power view (H&E x40)
CK pan immunostaining of the above section picks out the lobular carcinoma cells within the node capsule.
Note the weaker staining of a reticular network within the lymph node.
This is normal and should be borne in mnind when interpreting these immunostains.
